Japanese swords project

I came back to the office this Monday. I am excited to come back. I am still doing working from home. If the situation in Sydney gets better, lockdown should finish this Friday. We will be expecting an update tomorrow morning.

Today I spent most of my time writing a report about Japanese swords. We used a crowdfunding scheme to fund our research. We are fortunate enough to get enough funds to support our experiment in Japan. In return, I promise to write reports that include articles to understand the basics of Japanese swords. It is hard for me but anyways I should study and collect as much information about Japanese swords and I should write paper anyways so I am happy to write reports.

So this time, I am writing three things. Firstly, I will write an introduction to the history of Japanese swords. Of course, the history of Japanese swords, I can’t write in just one report but I will try to guide how people can understand better our study of Japanese swords. Secondly, I selected two Japanese swords from the collection of the Museum we are collaborating with. These swords have their own interesting history, it is interesting to investigate and share the information with our supporters. And thirdly, I am writing updates for the project. We got the funding approved in April 2021. Since then, we have some progress there so I am writing what we have done so far on the report. I will be writing the report every 2 months for a year. In the end, I can write the final report by writing this.
